UX Bootcamp Lead @Cal poly iter8
Taught over 100 students for 16 sessions across 8 weeks covering essential Figma topics such as Auto Layout, Component Variants & Properties, Variables, and Prototyping as well as UX topics such as building design systems, design thinking, and UX research. To keep the sessions engaging and accessible, I developed custom lesson plans that catered to a diverse group of students, each with varying levels of familiarity with design tools. This experience was incredibly rewarding, as it not only allowed me to share my passion for UX but also gave me valuable insights into effective teaching strategies, such as how to break down complex concepts into manageable steps and adapt my approach based on student feedback. The UX community is growing RAHHH!!!

At the same time, I lead and mentor a team of talented designers, overseeing project workflows, providing feedback, and fostering an environment that encourages collaboration and creative problem-solving.
The one role where I don't mind 3 hour long meetings!
